DIRECTIONS
Summerhurst Healing Retreat is located in beautiful East Hants County only 30 minutes from Lower Sackville, Elmsdale and Windsor! Please note that appointments must be made in advance as doors are locked at all times.

From Dartmouth:
Drive past Airport on Hwy 102 and take exit 8 towards Elmsdale / Lantz / Windsor.  Take a left towards the Superstore and continue on Hwy #214 for 6.5 km’s.  At Hwy Junction, take a left towards Windsor / Rawdon (West) on Route 14 for 21.5 km’s, until you see Rawdon Gold Mines. Take a right on Valley Road across from the XTR corner store / gas station / campground and drive for 4.5km’s.  (Please note that this is a rough section, so drive with care).   At the stop sign, take a right on Hwy 202 and immediately look for #972 on your right. It is the long paved driveway.  (Approximately 30 minutes from Elmsdale Exit).

From Truro
Drive on Hwy 102 towards Halifax.  Take Exit 9 towards Rawdon / Windsor.  Merge on Route 14 towards Nine Mile River / Windsor for 31km’s until you see Rawdon Gold Mine. (Approximately 30 minutes from exit 9).

Alternative, Scenic Route from Dartmouth or Truro:
This is the most scenic route with one extra turn, but the same amount of time as directions above.  (Note: This route is too long if you are coming from Beaverbank / Sackville).  Drive along Route 14 and take a right when you see a sign saying Hwy 202 Junction (West) with Gore, Kennetcook, and Noel.  (22km's from Exit 9, or 12km's from #214 from Elmsdale). Drive for 6.5km’s, then take a left towards West Gore.  This is still Hwy 202.  Take it slow in this turn, as it is easy to miss after you see the sign and there is traffic coming in fast from the other direction.  When you take a left, there is two roads, stick to the road on your right.  This is a continuation of Hwy 202.  Drive for 7km’s until you get to West Gore.  We are located on the left after the Fire station and church at #972.  The driveway is easy to miss, so take it slow.  It is the long paved driveway.  (Approximately 30 minutes from Exit 8 or 9).

From Sackville:
Drive up Beaverbank Road (Hwy 354) to the very end (about 34.5km’s).  Take a left on Route 14 (West) towards Brooklyn and Windsor, and drive for 4.2 Km’s until you see Rawdon Gold Mines.  Watch for the XTR mobile store / gas station / and campground on the left. (Approximately 30 minutes from Kent Building Supply / Irving at beginning of Beaverbank Road).

From Windsor:
Drive along Route 14 until you see Rawdon Gold Mine.  Take a left on Valley Road across from the XTR corner store / gas station / campground and drive for 4.5km’s.  (Please note that this is a rough section, so drive with care).   At the stop sign, take a right on Hwy 202 and immediately look for #972 on your right. It is the long paved driveway.  (Approximately 30 minutes from Windsor).
